This site has been developed to enable workers within the AOD and linked sectors to pool their knowledge, share resources and information, discuss different approaches and methods, and to foster collaboration within the sector. Online social networking is a great medium to allow workers in various sectors to pool resources and develop their knowledge. Using this advantages of this medium, and noting the development of a similar site addressing Dual Diagnosis, Moreland Hall has developed the "Heads Together" website. The site features discussion forums, downloadable resources available for free (such as the materials from the Alcohol: Considering Change workshop developed by Moreland Hall), video segments, photos, blogs and other information relevant to workers within the sector and others. It is hoped that the site will grow across the sector to assist best practice models to be shared, discussion and dialogue to be facilitated and enable people to work collaboratively to reduce drug related harms. The site will only be as good as the amount of input that is generated by its members. To join "Heads Together“ the AOD Collective, go here: Please adopt the site as your own and add any content that you feel may be useful to the AOD sector. We'd also love to hear any feedback you may have. |
