Moreland Hall (in collaboration with Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre, Odyssey House, YSAS and VAADA) invite all interested AOD workers and managers to participate in an online survey that asks your views about the Victorian Minimum Qualifications Strategy (MQS). The MQS was adopted by Victorian Department of Human Services as the minimum qualifications to work in a DHS funded AOD service.

The survey asks you to assess the extent to which the MQS meets the skills and knowledge requirements of practice in the AOD sector. Results of the survey will provide valuable information on the relevance of the MQS to the AOD sector and inform DHS of future workforce development projects.

This survey is completely voluntary and will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. We would really appreciate if you could take the time to complete the online survey.

All information collected will be confidential and no record of your name or your organisation will be associated with your responses. In addition the information that you provide will be digitally recorded and securely stored in accordance with Turning Point procedures in the storage of confidential information.

The findings of the survey will be reported through DHS communication strategies such as the AOD Treatment Service Providers’ Conference.

Access the survey here:

The survey period closes on 1st May 2009.
