James Beckford Saunders - Director of Education and Advocacy BSc (Hons), Graduate Diploma in Marketing (DipM), Graduate Diploma in Management (DipMgt), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner, Master of Business Administration (MBA) James joined UnitingCare Moreland Hall in 2011. He is responsible for overseeing the leadership, management, policy development and service delivery of the Education and Advocacy directorate, which comprises of Education and Training, Web and Publications, Evaluation and Communications, HR and Corporate Support. For over twenty years James has served in leadership roles for a variety of leading not-for-profits’ in Australia and the UK including beyondblue, Mental Illness Fellowship Victoria, Comic Relief UK, and Oxfam Australia. He also lectures in the Master of Commerce (Social Impact and Philanthropy) at Swinburne University. |

Brandon Jones - Manager of Education and Training B Ed, Dip AOD, Cert IV TAA, Graduate Course in Dual Diagnosis and presently studying for a Masters in Education Brandon has 20 years experience working in the community, health and education sectors. He has worked for High Schools and TAFEs, the Victorian AIDS Council, Salvation Army Crisis Centre, CAE and the Youth Substance Abuse Service. For the last 10 years Brandon has managed or coordinated education and training Units for AOD and community services. His expertise and interests lie in the following areas: AOD, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, harm minimisation, dual diagnosis and education |

Ray Stephens - Manager Web and Publications MNursing (Research), BN, RN, Cert IV TAA. Ray has worked in the AOD sector since 1994. After graduating as a general nurse, Ray worked as a Community Nurse and then AOD Nurse before moving into AOD education and training in 2002. Since then, Ray has provided AOD and nursing education at Certificate IV, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Ray is currently studying multimedia and his field of interest is the design, development and maintenance of web-based educational resources. |

Greg Logan - Senior Education and Training Consultant B.Ed., Dip VET Practice, CertIV TAA, Cert Counselling Greg is a general and psychiatric nurse with 30 years’ experience in the mental health and alcohol and other drug sectors. He has degrees in education as well as 20 years’ experience in the development and delivery of educational programs. He lectured for 10 years at Monash University before returning to the AOD sector. Greg has experience in the development and delivery of a wide range of educational programs from Cert IV through to post-graduate and has been nationally recognised as an e-Learning champion. |

Paul Aiken - Senior Evaluation and Communications Officer BA (Hons), MA (Research), BSW (Hons), MAssess & Eval, Core AOD Comps Paul has been with Moreland Hall since 2004. He served in a clinical role for 3 years with the agency’s service at Port Phillip Prison. In his Special Projects role, he is responsible for the development of new project models and funding proposals, communication initiatives and program evaluation. |

Matt Gleeson - Senior Education and Training Officer Dip AOD Work, Cert IV TAA, GradCertSocSc (MaleFamViolence) Matt commenced work in the community services sector in 1998 as a community development worker. Matt has subsequently worked in a variety of settings delivering assessment, case management and counselling services to clients who experience substance use issues. In 2006, Matt commenced work as a trainer and has been involved in the development and delivery of vocational training to AOD students in both the classroom and e-learning settings. |

Mark Johnston - Senior Education and Training Officer BA, CertIV TAA, Core AOD Comps Mark Johnston has been working in the AOD sector for the past 13 years in a variety of roles. Prior to joining the E&T team at Moreland Hall, Mark was primarily involved in providing drug treatment in a variety of settings across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Currently Mark is involved in the development and implementation of online services at Moreland Hall and other project work. |

Gabrielle New - Senior Education and Training Officer BA App Sci OT, Cert IV TAA, Dip AOD, Dip Theatre Arts, Cert IV Business, Cert II Dance, Cert II 3D Art Gaby has over 20 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist, Clinical supervisor and Senior Clinician in Mental Health, AOD and Dual Diagnosis in a range of settings in the UK, Australia and NZ. She is also a Performing Artist and Theatre Director with a passion for Butoh and the therapeutic implications for The Arts. |

Ann Tattersall – Senior Education and Training Officer Grad Dip Counselling Human Services, Grad Dip Ed. Dip T, Dip AOD, Cert IV TAA. Ann has been working in the Health and Community sector for 30 years, and in the AOD sector since 1991. Ann has worked as an AOD counsellor with young people and adults and her work as a trainer has involved project management of state-wide projects including the development and delivery of vocational training to AOD and community services workers. |

Jane Thomson - Graphic Designer BA/BBus, CertIV TAA, Dip Vis Arts (Public Art), Core AOD Comps, GradDip GraphDes Jane joined Moreland Hall in 2005. Prior to this Jane worked in both the corporate & community sectors utilising her marketing and training skills. As an Education & Training Officer, Jane coordinated Client Programs, facilitated AOD training in schools and project managed publication design and events. She has recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Graphic Design at RMIT and utilising these skills produces publications and promotional material for Moreland Hall including annual reports, brochures, conference posters, RTO and client program materials. |

Georgie Budini - Project and Administration Officer BA social science/psychology, 4 core competencies AOD. Georgie is currently completing her honours thesis in Psychology with a focus on the cultural competence of Aboriginal mental health providers. She has 6 years experience in leadership and administration roles in a variety of settings including the arts and social research. |

Rita Piscitello - Project and Administration Officer B Ec, Grad Dip Ec, Cert IV Sml Bus Mgt, Dip Bus Mgt, Cert III Inv Services, Food Handling Supervisor Rita joined Education & Training in 2010. She has a background in insurance and WorkCover and has completed qualifications in Economics, Business Management and Information Systems. She is currently completing Certificate IV Training & Assessment and Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety. |
