UnitingCare Moreland Hall is a specialist alcohol and other drug treatment and education service based in Melbourne's northern metropolitan region. We provide services to minimize the harm associated with problematic alcohol and other drug use throughout the community. We also provide specialist alcohol and other drug education and treatment services at Port Phillip Prison.

The Mission of UnitingCare Moreland Hall is to provide alcohol and other drug treatment and education services and to build a deeper understanding in the community about how to respond to alcohol and other drug issues.

We help more than 2000 people per year through a diverse range of services including alcohol and other drug counselling and support programs, community education and training, residential and home based withdrawal services.

Established for 36 years, Moreland Hall has a strong reputation as a professional alcohol and other drug treatment and education provider that is both practical and relevant to the community.

Our reputation has been built on years of clinical practice and our expertise in alcohol and other drug services make us an authority on problematic substance use in the community today.

In recent years, Moreland Hall has seen a significant rise in the need for practical and compassionate treatment and education services for individuals and their families who experience problematic alcohol and drug use.

Moreland Hall is supported by UnitingCare, the community services division of the Uniting Church. We therefore have a strong commitment to providing services to people of all backgrounds regardless of their cultural, economic, religious or social status.

Our organisation has strong affiliations with other primary health care and welfare agencies. We are highly regarded by the Justice system and are the major supplier of specialist alcohol and other drug programs at Port Phillip Prison. We also act as a professional adviser to the Department of Human Services (the major fund provider) and provide education and training programs for schools, professional groups and the community.
